It’s important to ask the right questions when you’re booking a beauty Pro. Here are some important tips to help you make the right decision:
Do your research.
Plan it out. Consider the design and materials you want. The more project details you can communicate to the Pros, the better your quotes and final product will be.
Review the Pro’s quote and Daadaak profile.
Compare prices, experience and past work to get a sense of what will work best for you. Be sure to visit the Pros' Daadaak profiles to see pictures of past work, reviews, and licensing information to help you make the right choice.
Ask questions. Daadaak makes it easy to communicate with Pros using our request forms and secure messaging platform. Feel free to ask the Pro as many questions as necessary. It’s smart to enquire about any similar projects the Pro has done, references from past clients, if your beauty services require a certification or is risky check the Pro's licensing and insurance. Some beauty services may require licensing and insurance.

Get an overview. Use the Pro’s profile to get further details that may not be included in the quote; for instance, the years of experience, the number of hires on Daadaak, and how many employees their business has.
Reviews matter. Reviews can offer valuable information about a Pro’s timeliness, technical skills, qualifications, and quality of work. Verified reviews are reviews from clients who hired the Pro through Daadaak, while unverified reviews come from clients who found the Pro elsewhere. You can also see how the Pro responded to reviews to gauge how they treat their clients.
Pictures are worth 1,000 words. It’s cliché, but true. Pros can post pictures or videos of their work to showcase past work. Look for examples of similar work the Pro has completed. If you don’t see any pictures, feel free to reach out and ask the Pro to provide some.
Confirm the credentials. In the credentials section, you’ll see several indicators of the Pro’s past experience on Daadaak. Profile badges (Bronze, Silver, or Gold) indicate the quality of the Pro’s profile, and Top Pro badges indicate that the Pro has been recognised based on their clients' reviews during the last year.
You may also see a background check badge (meaning the Pro passed a national background check).
Write down the details (and keep a copy).
Provide plenty of info. Be sure to include specific service details so that you receive quotes from Pros who are willing and able to meet your needs.
Be clear about your expectations. If you're looking for a particular style, design or technique, send photos or add them to your service request details. Moreover, you can always reach out to Pros if you want to discuss the details over the phone. Once you’ve hired a Pro, it’s also important to determine payment methods and specific prerequisites for your service.
Keep Agreements Proof. The Agreement might include the who, what, where, when, and cost of the project.
Keep copies of your records and payments. Create a record of communications, proof of payment. No matter what your beauty service is, always ask about additional fees beforehand and make sure to get a confirmation from the Pro.
Use your best judgment.
Don’t automatically choose the Pro with the lowest price. We all love good deals, and many of the quotes you'll receive are offering just that. But you may want to request an explanation to understand the reason for any unusually low price.
Take your time. Feel free to ask lots of questions and get all the info you need before making a hiring decision.
Get help if you face an issue. If an issue arises while your project is being completed, first attempt to resolve it with the Pro, which can often be successful. If you aren’t able to come to an agreement, please let us know. We are here to help.
